KES PTSA Room Representatives The Room Representative Chair coordinates the room representatives for the school year. Essentially, each class should have at least one room representative (a.k.a. “room parent”). The room representative’s role is to assist the teacher in coordinating activities, finding class volunteers and acting as a communicator of important info between PTSA and the parents of the class. The role of the chairperson is to help ensure that each class has a room representative, offers a beginning of the year training session to help them understand their jobs and to disseminate information that may assist them in those roles.
