Art Awareness is a PTSA sponsored arts appreciation program. The basic idea of the program is to introduce students to great works of art and the artists that created them. The goal of Art Awareness is for the students to remember these artworks and artists through engaging discussions and memorable hands-on activities. Each nine weeks parent volunteers present an Art Awareness lesson in the classrooms. All art materials and teaching resources are provided for the students, volunteers and teachers by the PTSA. Volunteers are needed to develop lesson plans and activities to carry out in the classrooms.
