WaMu School Savings Program at KES
CRAZE TO SAVE!
Kennesaw Elementary PTSA in conjunction with Washington Mutual Bank provides an outstanding opportunity for your child to learn the life long lesson of saving money. Instilling good saving habits in your child now will teach them to become “life long savers” and empower them in adulthood to be financially responsible. KES Washington Mutual Bank will be open for business on the 2nd and 4th Wednesday of each school month. The Washington Mutual banking days are designated as WaMu days on the school calendar. The bank will be accepting applications for savings accounts and deposits before school starts in the media room every WaMu day. The first WaMu Day for the school calendar year 2008/2009 will be August 27th, 2008. Washington Mutual will deposit a $0.25 into your child’s savings account to get them started on the road to finical freedom. Your child will be rewarded with prizes for exhibiting good saving habits in addition to seeing their money grow. What you the parent needs to do;
OR Bring the completed application to any WaMu bank. It will take 2 weeks for your child’s account to be established once your application is submitted, no deposits can be accepted until you child’s account has been processed through Washington Mutal.
NOTE: Only Deposits can be made at school additional transactions can be performed at any Washington Mutual Branch. |
